Mark and Paige Day are back in Arizona after living in the Houston, Texas area and the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. Coming home to the desert where we raised our family only made sense; and being empty nesters made the transition back to Arizona somewhat easier. Raising a family of four (2 sons, 2 daughters)in a two parent firefighter household was always adventurous and busy, but we couldn't have imagined our lives any other way! Now, as newly promoted grandparents, we are transitioning into a new stage of our lives which include retirement for Mark and ending a busy career for Paige. To keep us balanced, we were looking for a church and were blessed to find St. Francis. The church is beautiful, the community is so welcoming and made us feel at home right away. Our choice was a simple one; St. Francis is our new church home. You will find us hiking, wine tasting, exploring and walking our dogs, and enjoying everything that Arizona has to offer. We are so excited to be part of the St. Francis family and are looking forward to getting to know all of you. Blessings and love! Mark and Paige
Loren Thompsen I am retired and live full time in Green Valley. I was a metallurgical engineer and worked on the mineral processing side of the mining industry. My work took me to many locations across the United States as well as overseas. I continue to enjoy traveling, reading and watching college sports. Visiting the grandkids several times a year is a priority.
