The Eidsvollsmen Council of North America (ECONA) is a non-profit, cultural/heritage membership organization representing the descendants of the 112 Founding Fathers of Norway, the Eidsvollsmen. Our mission is to establish and maintain a collection of books, periodicals, documents, reproductions and other genealogical eidsvollsmen council o f north america® materials relating to Norwegian-American descendants of Norway’s Founding Fathers at Eidsvoll, Norway Preserving the lineage and spirit of Norway’s Founding Fathers on 17 Mai 1814; to collect, preserve, research and publish materials concerning Eidsvollsmen genealogy; conduct council meetings, conferences and seminars to educate members of Eidsvoll’s history of 17 Mai 1814. The annual Council Membership Assembly will be held each year on 17 May. Memberships become effective pending approval of ECONA’s Membership Committee.
