Here’s what’s happening in May! It’s time to celebrate Mothers Day! We love this time of year! It’s the best excuse to do something special for someone we all love so much, our moms! So to show our appreciation to momma we are giving you a free fat ¼ of your choice with every gift certificate bought with mom in mind. Time is running out before its time! So grab the chance of a gift she will love, and a bonus bit of fabric to top it off, or keep for yourself, we wont tell!

Saturday the marks Valley Center’s annual parade so we will not be open until 12 pm that day due to the roads being blocked
Beginner Class Tuesday the 31st we are holding a class specifically for beginners. Here at Inspirations we have expert teachers with years of experience to help guide you in the fundamentals required for most all quilt designs and patterns. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to use your machine, bring it in and we will teach you! In this class you will walk home with a finished table runner designed specifically for novice sewers and the experience to tackle your projects at home! But don’t worry we always have our sit and classes if you need further help!
One Block Wonder Pt.1 May 14th 9:30 am– 3:30 pm Cost $15 + Pattern This 2 part class will take you on a fabric adventure! Everything in this quilt is made from the exact same fabric!! Craving a challenge made simple? You will have so much fun, I should know because I’m taking the class with you! Come in beforehand to get help picking your fabric!
The Woven Purse Tuesday May 24th 9:30 am – 3:30 pm Cost $15 + Pattern Got a stash of jelly rolls you don’t know what to do with? Let’s get Purse-inal with this one day class you are sure to love! Janice will go above and beyond your pattern and teach you to make a custom lining with just your size pockets. There is some pre-sewing instructions you will receive when u sign up for the class so make sure to sign up early! This class fills up fast!
Fabric Painting with Melanie Chang Wed April 25th 9:30 am– 3:30pm
Cost $35 Pattern/Class plus $15 Kit. This is a one day class geared to the all my artsy folks out there. You will discover your inner artist as Melanie will guide you step by step until your masterpiece is complete. She is a true professional and incredible teacher. So are you desiring to make something different with a familiar twist, then this is your class! You will be inspired by many samples on all the ways you can use your gorgeous hand painted sunflower fabric. (No Sit & Sew on Wed 25th for the painting class)
