//Mexico Missions Luncheon Fundraiser: Today Join us toady, at 12:00 PM, right after second service, for a nacho/taco bar lunch. This lunch will be donation based. The Mexico Missions team is reconnecting with the Cumbres Church of Christ in Tijuana. This June, a group of adult leaders will be making a short trip to meet with the church to discuss and plan future service projects. All donations from this lunch will go toward the cost of this missions trip.
//Women’s Brunch: May 13 Join us from 11:00 AM-12:30 PM for a women’s brunch. Guest speaker/testimony will be from Hannah’s House (Teen Challenge).
//Welcome to Southside Class: May 21 and 23 Join us on either Sunday, May 21, from 12:00-3:00 PM or Tuesday, May 23, from 6:008:00 PM for our Welcome Class. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our teachings here at Southside, our leadership structure, as well as how to become a member. Lunch and childcare will be provided on Sunday. Seniors Ministry //Seniorfest 2017: May 11 Join us Thursday, May 11, from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM for Seniorfest 2017. Seniorfest will be at the Oregon Christian Convention Conference/ Retreat Center in Turner, OR. The bus will leave Southside at 9:00 AM. The cost is $15/ person if you register by May 4. After May 4, the cost will be $20/person. Please visit the Welcome Center to register.

//Senior Promotion Dinner & High School Overnighter Youth in grades 9-12 are invited to the Senior Promotion Dinner and High School Overnighter from 5:00 PM on Friday, May 19, to noon on Saturday, May 20. Our Welcome to Southside Class is a great opportunity for you to learn more about who we are here at Southside. In this 2-3 hour class, we will talk about our vision/mission, theology, and core values, and give you an opportunity to ask questions in a relaxed environment.
//Bus Drivers & Assistants Needed
This class is offered approximately every other month and it is offered for your convenience at two different times, so you can attend the one that best fits your schedule. The first is always on a Sunday, right after our second service. Lunch and childcare are provided. The second offering is the following Tuesday evening. Dinner is provided, but childcare is not available. Register via the communication card, at the Welcome Center, online, or in our app.
//Help with Interior Custodial and Exterior Maintenance
Bus drivers for Bus 25 are needed. CDL with a passenger endorsement is required. For more information or to volunteer, please contact the church office at 541.258.7893. Assistance is available for those needing to acquire a CDL. Volunteers are needed to help clean and vacuum the interior of the building on a weekly basis as well as assist with exterior issues such as lawn care and gardening, painting, along with other general facilities upkeep. For more information or to volunteer, sign up at the Welcome Center or contact the Church office.
//Southside at the Soup Kitchen
Southside needs helpers the 3rd Wednesday of every month cooking and serving at the Lebanon Soup Kitchen. If you would like to volunteer a few hours once a month or would like more information, please contact Steve Moody at 541.405.1616 or the church office at 541.258.7893.
