LIBRARY NEWS 

Bring your quarters and dollars! The library is hosting a 25-cent book sale during the last week of school (May 14-18.) We have lots of high quality books that have been donated. Students will have the chance to shop during their regular library class, but they are also welcome to come any time before or after school or whenever Mrs. Cox is not teaching a class. This fund raiser helps us buy new books!

All library books should be returned to the library by May 14. Get your gumball by turning in all your books! If you’ve lost a book, please pay the amount shown on the overdue notice so a replacement can be purchased. Students with outstanding books or fines will not receive their grade cards and will not have full checkout privileges next school year. Contact the librarian, Kerri Cox, if you have questions.

Monday May 14th, is the make-up for 4th/5th Track & Field Day (if needed), May 17th, is the Survivor Day make-up day, should either be needed. Students will need to bring a sack lunch and drink from home. PTA will provide each student with a popsicle snack when they return to school. Parents may eat lunch with their students on the field and then return to the bleachers to watch the remainder of the activities. All lunches need to be in disposable containers. **Nurse’s Note: Parents, please dress your children appropriately, including loose clothing, tennis shoes, a jacket if it’s cool and DON’T FORGET THE SUNSCREEN!
