The QA system is registered with QMI for compliance to ISO9001-2000. Optimum inventory, engineering support and LEAN manufacturing technology enable the company to provide excellent customer service at a competitive cost. The Company is a major supplier of quality bronze marine valves to many shipyards in Canada and the US as well as the Canadian and the US Navies.

Choosing the right valve Montreal Bronze Marine valves are manufactured to applicable standards with exacting material and process controls. All valves are 100% tested for seat and shell and documentary evidence is maintained. The design and construction is based on years of experience and usage in the industry. Body, bonnet and trim material options are specifically suited for marine applications. Montreal Bronze maintains a substantial inventory of standard parts and finished goods that enable it to provide flexible service and on time delivery performance. The Company has excellent customer service and liaison for product application, design and feedback. While the standard product listed comply to the widely used national standard such as ASME B16.24 and ASME B16.10, the Company has the equipment and flexibility to provide special non-standard face-to-face, flange drilling, and special design applications that may be required. Apart from the standard Bronze marine valves, the Company has a large range of special bronze marine products that meets specific design and performance requirements of Navy ships. These include designs that have been tested and approved for Navy shock and vibration specifications MIL-S-901D/MIL-STD-167. These products are available upon request.

MB Standard valves Globe valve Montreal Bronze marine globe valves are designed for optimum flow passage and are robust in construction. The Globe valve is ideal for throttling as well as on-off applications. The stem travel is small, hence quick to operate. By design, these valves have a higher resistance to flow and can be used to provide restriction in order to prevent conditions such as water hammer. They are offered with different ends, configurations and trims, including PTFE soft seat for bubble tight application. Series SL15N SL15F SD15F H15N

Gate valve Montreal Bronze marine gate valves offer a full bore design built to withstand body torsion stresses and perform well at low and high pressures. Optimum guiding of the gate provides lesser seat wear and reliable service. Gate valves are good for shut-off and isolation applications. The advantage of gate valve is the low resistance to flow - in the full open position the pressure drop approaches that of a straight pipe. All Montreal Bronze non-rising stem gate valves are furnished with position indicators standard. All 1-½ to 8 valves are supplied with position indicator. Check valve Montreal Bronze offers a full range of bronze marine screwed and flanged swing and lift check valves. Check valves are designed to prevent flow reversal. Typical applications are: • Protecting mechanical equipment : i.e.: pumps, filters • Isolate primary systems from pressure surges of secondary systems Lift checks are quicker to close than swing checks but cause more flow resistance. Diaphragm valve Montreal Bronze weir and straightway marine diaphragm valves are used in many salt and fresh water applications, fire fighting distribution system (DWNH and AWFH series) and low pressure air. These are highly reliable bubble tight shut off and flow control valves. By design the stem operating mechanism does not come in contact with the fluid, separated by the diaphragm. Thus salt water contamination and corrosion that could hinder the operation of the valve is limited. Diaphragm valves are easy to maintain and reliable. The straightway valve is ideal for waste systems with solids in the media.

Ball valve Montreal Bronze marine ball valves are of full port design with no cavity in the ball/seating area to eliminate any entrapment of solids that may go through the valve. Bronze B61 body, PTFE seats and seals are standard and the stem is available in Monel/Bronze/Stainless. Ideal for shut off & divert-flow control applications and can be easily adapted to actuation. Available in standard 2-way or 3-way configurations. These valves are constructed to MIL-V-24509 specification with MIL-F-20042 or ASME B16.24 flanges. Series
