What will we learn? The 24 hours of training is scheduled over three days covering: • How to analyze unique conflict styles among the wide variety of personalities; • Common workplace conflict resolution techniques; • The approach that efficiently manages time and resources and the empirical basis; • How to apply training to professional pursuits. Those who successfully complete the training with 16 hours of coursework online through Mediators Without Borders will receive the Mediators Without Borders Certificate in Mediation and Dispute Resolution.
Training Facilitator: Judge M. Sue Kurita Judge Kurita is the presiding judge of El Paso county court. She has served on the boards of the Judicial Section of the State Bar of Texas and on the National Association of Women Judges. She was elected Vice-President of the National Association for Women Judges, (NAWJ), and also served as the Chair for the New Judges Program for NAWJ. A strong advocate of continuing judicial education, Judge Kurita is a certified Mediators Without Borders mediator and arbitrator and frequently leads training on the Mediators Without Borders exclusive InAccord® process in mediation and conflict resolution.
