an
art!
For over the last ten years we train the best mediators and ADR experts. Over 10,000 professionals have attended our training courses and have become problem solvers, negotiators, conciliators, mediators and arbitrators, in Italy and abroad. They are special people to whom we provide a special preparation, at the highest levels. They are professionals that we have carefully instructed during several hundreds high quality training courses, workshops, seminars, conferences, and that we continue to train at our best. The preparation of students who rely on CONCILIA for their professional development is supervised by our trainers who are recognized as the best on the ADR market. We personally choose the teaching staff and we want to be at the top levels. We request from our trainers: preparation, dedication, commitment, professionalism and continuous updating, to give the best, always.
Training: Training to “direct negotiation”, “assisted professional negotiation” (extrajudicial mediation), “arbitration” and the other A.D.R. techniques, to sharpen in few days, through theoretical close examinations and practical simulations, the necessary communicative competences and the human-relationship tools in crisis situations and to develop the individual abilities of “collaborative negotiation”, acquiring the methodology to resolve disputes of any nature, in convenient and advantageous way for all the involved parties. CONCILIA offers reliable, valid training, from a results-oriented perspective. The training is professionally run thanks to the consolidated experience of the tutors who also have valid long-term experience as mediators. The courses we offer are mainly characterized by the effectiveness of the training method, the result of years of research and experience gained from the countless mediation procedures handled. The method is based on dialogue-based learning, in which students are constantly encouraged to be active participants. The reference model is the one used by Harvard University in the USA. The courses for mediators are structured in four levels, and are the main channel for the acquisition of a theoretical and practical approach to the subject. Introductory level – basic course: designed to introduce participants to the theory and practice of ADR, analyze the institutional and legislative framework of which it forms part, provide theoretical and practical training designed to develop mediators’ powers of analysis and strategic management, and to make each mediator aware of his or her personal style. One of the topics dealt with during the course relates to the management of structural, substantial and dynamic aspects of the mediation process, with the aim of analyzing disputes and strategically planning their management. Advanced level – training: the aim is to fine-tune the skills and abilities required of mediators, and to give them the skills they need to deal with the obstacles that most frequently arise in mediation procedures. Specialization: mediators can be trained in specific areas, for example community mediation, tourism etc. Apprenticeship and coaching: mediators can be introduced to the practical aspect with the support of our experts. Special-interest courses: on request, CONCILIA organizes individual training modules designed to explore specific areas or consolidate the skills acquired in previous courses. Concilia S.r.l. arranges final assessments at the end of the course, to check the level of knowledge acquired. University and Academic works: Professional knowledge and competencies have been used by CONCILIA for the organization of a number of specific and professional university courses such as a course on “Mediation and Conciliation” held at CISP – Pisa University; seminars held at the Italian Internal Affairs Ministry Secondary School; and courses aimed at conciliators held at a number of Italian Chambers of Commerce, Training Institutes, Local Authorities, Professional Offices and Enterprises.
