TOYOTA FORKLIFTS COLORING BOOK

MEET GUSTO

Gusto is a Toyota forklift designed to move heavy things from place to place. With the help of his forks he can lift thousands of pounds. Whether you need to move a load of lumber or a pallet of household goods, Gusto can help you do the work.

WHAT DO FORKLIFTS DO?

Forklifts like Gusto help move things to people around the world!

Smaller things are usually placed into boxes and stacked onto pallets so that Gusto can easily lift these heavy loads.

You might see Gusto at an airport . . .

After things are made in a factory, forklifts are used to move them from place to place.

Sometimes these things are shipped out in a truck right away, but sometimes Gusto stacks them onto shelves so they can be used later.

. . . or at a seaport, moving loads onto a ship so they can sail across the ocean!

INDUSTRIES Forklifts are used in many different places. Here are just some of the industries that use forklifts:

Mining

Lumber

Construction

Agriculture

Food & Beverage

Retail

Oil & Gas

Steel

OUR STORY

The first Toyota forklift debuted in Japan in 1956. A little over a decade later, in 1967, the first U.S. Toyota forklift dealership was established and sold their first Toyota forklift. In 1990, Toyota’s first forklift manufactured in the U.S. rolled off the line at the state-of-the-art Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing facility in Columbus, Indiana, and new forklift models have continued to be built in the United States ever since.
