Meeting Agenda Event: Mars Baseball Association – General Meeting Place: Adams Township Municipal Building Date: Wednesday, August 12, 2015 Motion to Open: 8:22pm – S. Palmer / G. Gottschalk

1. President’s Welcome (Rouda)  Friendship Series with Japanese 14u Team  18 kids, 3 coaches and 7 family members attended  Thank you to the Mars families that hosted: o Astbury o Ijeda o Quinn o Roush o Schmitt o Wetherholt  The teams split a double header  There was a picnic and swim party after the games  It was a great experience 2. Treasurer’s Report (Fox)     

General Fund - $5K Edward Jones - $49K Land Grant - $9.7K Pay Pal $5K All expenses paid

3. Community Days  Saturday, September 12th  Mars Baseball will have a booth  The 7u team will staff the booth  There will be fireworks  The township would like us to play games on this day 4. PONY Qualifier Update (Totzke / Fox)  The 12u team won the East Zone West Region at Mars  The 12u team lost in the championship game in the East Zone to Swansea, MA at Cranberry Township  The 15u team won the East Zone West Region at Mars  The 15u team placed 3rd in the East Zone West Region at Struthers, OH

Meeting Agenda 5. Lakevue  There are some ongoing concerns with Lakevue management that could lead to availability in the future.

6. Travel Team Tryouts  A few parents attended the meeting and voiced concerns about picking the travel team at the end of the summer as opposed to next spring. 7. Fall Ball Commissioners  T-Ball – Adam Schultz  Farm – TBD  Minor – TBD  Bronco – Larry Fox  Pony – Edwin Palmer  High School – Andy Bednar / Chuck Rouda 8. Open Discussion / New Business  Progress on new fields discussed.
