Mercantil Bank’s Laura Trosclair Named Chairwoman of the Board for the Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce MIAMI (July XX, 2017) – Laura Trosclair, Executive Vice President of Domestic Retail Banking for Mercantil Bank, serves Chairwoman of the Board for the Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce. The Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce is a private, member-driven organization comprising of more than 600 business enterprises, civic organizations, educational institutions, and individuals. In her role as Chairwoman of the Board, Trosclair will lead the Chamber in its mission of fostering a prosperous regional economy, as well as supporting business attraction, retention, and expansion. As Chairwoman, Trosclair strives to increase the impact of the Chamber of Commerce, as well as increase membership and provide local businesses with relevant events to help them grow. “This is such a great opportunity to give back to the business community that plays such an important role in the larger Central Palm Beach community,” said Trosclair. “It’s an honor to serve in a leading role for this organization and help continue the growth of Central Palm Beach for generations to come.” In her role as EVP of Domestic Retail Banking, Trosclair leads Mercantil’s retail operations, as well as its strategy for domestic retail expansion in Florida, New York, and Texas. In addition to her position with the Central Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce, Trosclair is also a Board Member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida and a former Board Member of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches.
