Mercury Configuration in 2TouchPOS
Mercury DSI Client Download the DSI Client from Mercury. http://www.datacapepay.com/dsiclient.htm DSIClient must be installed on (at the very least) the computer queuing credit card requests. o Recommend installing on each computer.
Activating Credit Card module Enter a valid 10 digit credit card activation key o Enter the key on the Registration Keys screen (Admin > System Settings > Registration Keys) o Or enter the 10 digit credit card key at the login screen and press Login. Log out and Log back in to enable the credit card module. Define the credit card settings for the selected credit card processor / credit card software (Admin > Establishment > Credit Card > Settings > Setup) o This will require generating a 000701 system code to enable credit card setup o Note that you cannot change credit card setup when there are any open credit card charges.
Mercury Payment Systems Credit Card File Path is required and indicates the machine processing the requests to Mercury. o This is normally the base station. (TwoTouch0) Mercury IP Address fields holds primary and secondary IP addresses and port for connectivity. o Separated by a semi-colon without spaces: x1.mercurypay.com;b2.backuppay.com Password field is used for report retrieval.
