Contact: Michael Dalton District Manager, The Properties at Wright Field Military Housing 937.241.3653 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 8, 2014 St. Vincent de Paul Homeless Shelter Experiences the Difference Miller-Valentine Group Can Make Miller-Valentine Group’s The Properties at Wright Field property management team is privileged to partner with St. Vincent de Paul Gateway Shelter, to provide a hot lunch complete with refreshments and dessert on January 9, 2014, 11:30am to 1:00pm. Michael Dalton, District Manager for Miller-Valentine Group says: “One of MillerValentine Group’s corporate beliefs is to be a model corporate citizen in the communities we serve. Our company supports the mission of St. Vincent de Paul Shelter; ‘to provide shelter and supportive services to homeless men, women, and families during their periods of crisis.’ The choice to team up for the fifth year is a natural one for both organizations.” Serving the Dayton community and helping those less fortunate is something that the Miller-Valentine Group team is proud to have done for many years. Dalton indicated “this is simply who we are as a company, when there is a need, we step up and make every effort to be a good neighbor.” Previously, The Properties at Wright Field has collected “Coats for Mothers” which were donated locally, hosted an annual food drive during the holidays, housed over 90 area families who had no electric in 2008 when Hurricane Ike hit, and have even helped with donations to an orphanage overseas in Afghanistan. The men and women who serve in our military do it every day. The Properties at Wright Field boasts, “Proudly Serving Those Who Serve” and giving back to the community is one way we do that to honor their service. Jim Fenwick, Residential Property Management President shared “Miller-Valentine Group is extremely proud that our Associates unselfishly donate their time to serve those in our community. Our company actively seeks out ways to positively impact the local communities in which we serve. It is part of the 50 year legacy MillerValentine is committed to. Our Dayton-based company founded in 1963 does more than talk about corporate beliefs; we are fortunate to have more than 800 Associates demonstrate our corporate beliefs by their actions and involvement in local events all year long.” The luncheon will be held at the St. Vincent de Paul Gateway Shelter at 1921 S. Gettysburg Avenue, Dayton, OH 45417 and welcomes those in need. About Miller-Valentine Group Since our founding in 1963, Miller-Valentine Group has been dedicated to quality, value and service.
