Guest Speakers Pam Blazo - A discussion was held that went into detail on the needs of item from the Local and City Government perspective. The topics of needs that were discussed are highlighted o Low Maintenance cheap fixes o Multiply functional devices o Devices that have a low operational and maintenance fix o Non-motorized pathways How to maintain Green Pavement Markings In Road Demands – Flexible posts Funding o Loss of Equipment o Education needs – Due to turn over o Willingness to test pilot projects o Demo Days o Look at getting ATSSA more involved with the locals - What they would like to see is one page on items and best practices o Political Items o Recessing Markings o Best Practice Items o Traffic and Safety for Public Officials

a. The Training was discussed and a call was set at a later date with ATSSA National to discuss future training needs C. Work Zone Awareness Week 2016 & 2017 a. Looking for new active members b. 2016 success story c. 2017 Grand Rapids location and Nation Orange Day April 5th d. Drafting request for national event for 2018. i. Hoping to get approval for M-city D. Roadway Safety Industry Concerns and Challenges/Roundtable a. The importance of MASH testing and the changes moving forward was brought up and discussed again.
