MicroSCADA Pro SYS 600C Battery Replacement Guideline This guideline describes how to replace the BIOS battery of SYS 600C. The guideline is applicable for SYS 600C versions 1.xx and 2.xx 1. Disconnect the external power supply and loosen the two screws as shown in the picture. Then open the casing;

2. With necessary ESD protection, remove the battery cap by holding the upper corners of the cap and carefully pull it upwards.

MicroSCADA Pro SYS 600C Battery Replacement Guideline 3. Push the battery holder latch in the direction shown in the picture.

4. Take the battery out from the battery holder.

5. Replace the new battery with a new one (Battery type CR2032), please be noted that the positive polarity side marked with “+” is facing the battery holder latch’s side. 7. Close the casing and fasten the two screws as shown in the step 1. 8. Connect to external power supply, start SYS 600C and press “DEL” to enter the BIOS settings. 9. Select “Load optimized defaults”, press ENTER. 10. Set system time and date in “Standard CMOS Features”. 11. Select “Save & Exit Setup”, press ENTER to exit BIOS settings screen.
