Summary of 2016 Changes to the Local League Organizer Role Stipend Criteria 1. To be considered an official program, the league must contain at least 3 teams (12 players) 2. All leagues/teams/players must be registered online through the NorCal team tennis software All match scores must be reported in order to receive the stipend (except Red Ball divisions)
Stipend Amounts
(An official team must have a minimum of 4 players) Red Ball Teams = $75 per team o Must run the H.I.T.S. – Red Ball JTT Program or have run a USTA Red Ball JTT league in 2015
JTT Unique Player Growth Initiative (Stipend Distribution for Multiple Seasons)
If a LLO runs more than 1 league season during the year, the league will need to grow by +10% in total participation or +10% in unique participants in order to receive all stipends in each future season (compared to the previous season) o For example: A spring season league with 20 players will need to grow to 22 players total next season in order to receive the per team stipends (+10% growth) o For example: A spring season league with 20 players and has 20 players in the summer season, will need to have at least +10% growth in new unique players that did not participate during a prior season(s) in order to receive the per team stipends. Meaning that two or more of the 20 summer season players must be new unique JTT players that did not participate in that league from season(s) before.
Red Ball JTT leagues can only receive a $75 per team stipend once during the year per team of 4 unique players o For example: A program had 20 players in the first season. In the second season, the program had 28 players. The program will be considered as having 2 new teams of 4 players each. The program will only earn $75 per team for the 2 new teams in the second season.
