Missions Corner How time flies! It has been a couple of months since we sent the last batch of toiletries to New Leaf and Progressive House. Your generosity made it possible for twenty-four bags of toiletries to be sent out in January to the women in recovery homes, what a blessing! It’s time to send our next batch of bags but sadly the cupboard is looking bare. Please continue in your generosity in providing essentials for these women. Each bag we send contains a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoos with conditioner, bar of soap, and lotion. There have been many other items donated and everything received is given away. The next time you wander through the store you could pick up a couple of these items. Your gifts can be placed in the Senior Ladies Sunday School classroom. It’s always a surprise to see what is faithfully given. A big thank you to Leonard Brown who graciously delivers the bags to the various homes and a thanks to those who have been so faithful in providing these personal items, including those from Clay City Church who’ve been a part of this ministry. The Smaller Membership and Rural Church Conference is focused on the unique needs of churches and church leaders who minister in churches running under 150 and/or in smaller communities. This conference is intentionally designed to focus on ministering to members, reaching the community, developing leaders, and sharing effective practices in the smaller membership church. Pastors, church leadership and laypersons are encouraged to attend as a group to receive the maximum impact. Join us Saturday March 22nd in Yuba City! 6:30 a.m. Meet @ FBC Lincoln to carpool 8:00 a.m. Continental Breakfast 8:30 a.m. Opening Session 10:45 a.m. Breakout Session 12:00 p.m. Lunch on site 12:45 p.m. Breakout Session 2:15-4:00 p.m. Closing Session
