Piecing Instructions ¡ Mark a diagonal line as shown on the backside of (8) Background

“B” Squares.

¡ Layer a Background “B” square on top of (1) Green “C”

rectangle. (left side) as shown.

¡ Sew on the drawn line. Cut 1/4” away from the sewn line. Press

towards the background triangle.

¡ Mark a diagonal line as shown on the backside of (4) Red “G”

squares.

¡ Layer a Red “G” square on top of the Green rectangle (right side)

as shown. ¡ Sew on the drawn line. Cut 1/4” away from the sewn line. Press

toward the Red triangle. ¡ Block should measure 2-1/2” x 4-1/2” ¡ Repeat previous (6) steps to make a total of (4) Flying Geese

¡ Layout (1) Flying Geese block and (1) Background “A” rectangle

as shown.

¡ Sew blocks together and press towards the Background rectangle.

¡ Repeat to make a total of (4) Flying Geese blocks. Block should

measure 4-1/2” x 4-1/2” ¡ Layer a Background “B” square on top of (1) Red “F”

rectangle. (left side) as shown.

¡ Sew on the drawn line. cut 1/4” away from the sewn line. Press

towards the Red.

¡ Mark a diagonal line as shown on the backside of (4) Purple “H”

squares.

¡ Layer a Purple “H” square on top of the Red rectangle (right side)

as shown. ¡ Sew on the drawn line. Cut 1/4” away from the sewn line. Press

toward the Red. ¡ Block should measure 2-1/2” x 4-1/2” ¡ Repeat previous (6) steps to make a total of (4) Star Point

blocks. ¡ Layout (2) Blue “D” Squares and (2) Gold “E” squares as shown

¡ Sew squares into a rows. Pressing towards the blue.

¡ Sew rows together to make (1) Center Square. Press in the

¡ Layout (4) Flying Gees Blocks, (4) Star Point Blocks, and (1)

Center Square as shown.

¡ Sew blocks into rows pressing seams open.

¡ Sew rows together to make (1) Fractured Star Block. Press

seams open. Block should measure 10-1/2” x 10-1/2”.

Add Block Framing Strips ¡ Sew

a Purple “I” strip to the left and right sides of the block. Press towards the Purple strip.

¡ Sew

a Purple “J” strip to the top and bottom of the block. Press towards the Purple Strip.

¡ Block
