READING/LA: Planting Trees in Kenya Planting the Trees in Kenya can be found on pages 490 – 501 in the Reading Anthology. The genre is BIOGRAPHY, the skill focus is PROBLEM AND SOLUTION. Please review and practice the reading vocabulary words (below). QUIZ ON FRIDAY! The Greek and Latin roots are: dis meaning not and un meaning not. Please review your daily DOL from morning work, as questions like these will be on the DOL Quiz on Friday!

MATH: Topic 2: Adding and Subtracting Decimals We will continue to work daily on Fast Facts and 6 Box. Don’t forget there will be a 6 Box Quiz each Friday. We will continue with Topic 2: Adding and Subtracting Decimals. Quiz on Friday!
SOCIAL STUDIES: States and Capitals We will continue learning the states and capitals in the WEST REGION. There will not be a quiz this week, but you should study every night!
