There have been a few changes so far this summer in regards to scheduling conflicts. We just want to say a big thank you to everyone that has adjusted their scheduled in order to make football a top priority.

From July 1, 2014 there are only 66 total days before we kickoff vs. the Blue Valley South66 days until Kick-Off west. Of those days we only have 21 training opportunities left. That means that you only will be able to workout in the weight room a total of 21 times. This is why it will be vital that we have everyone attend every session. We can not afford to miss an training. Every session, every rep and every drill counts!

Midwest 7on7 Championship The Mustangs had a strong showing in their first competitive activity of the 2014 season. Despite being the youngest team in competition on a hot Saturday in Lee’s Summit, the Mustangs went 2-3 in the 7on7 sponsored by the U.S. Amry. The Mustangs will have their 2nd and final 7on7 competition of the summer on July 19th as they compete against Kansas best area teams at Blue Valley High School.

The Bottom Line

Face it. Nobody owes you anything. What you achieve or fail to achieve in your lifetime is directly related to what you do or fail to do. Everyone has problems and obstacles to overcome, but they are relative to each individual. You can change anything in your life if you want to badly enough. Excuses are for losers! Those who take responsibility for their actions are the real winners in life. Winners meet life’s challenges head on, knowing there are no guarantees. Compete EVERYDAY in EVERYTHING you do!!!! If you aren’t willing to work for your goals, Don’t expect others to. Key Dates Cont...
