Mandatory Parent Meeting Sunday, April 26th from 5:00—6:30pm we will have a Parent Meeting in the Performing Arts Center at the High School. This informational meeting is for all parents grades 9—12. We are hoping that the information you have been receiving through email has been effective, but meeting in person is the best way to eliminate any confusion and gain clarification on any topics or issues pertaining to this summer. We will have another meeting before the season to discuss season operations (playtime, etc…). We will always try to meet formally 3 times a year: After the season (banquet), Spring Meeting and a Fall Meeting. However, please do not hesitate to call or contact Coach Sims if you ever have a question or concern.

Cinco De Mayo Party

On Saturday, May 2nd from 6—10pm, we will be having our 1st Annual Mustang Cinco De Mayo Celebration! This FUNdraiser will be a great opportunity not only to support our players, but also a great night of food and fellowship with all the parents and supporters involved in Mustang Football!

We started a new program this spring which recognizes athletes that are showing some amazing results in the our new Athlete Development Program. T-shirts are being given out to Mustangs who have been able to reach the following levels in the Squat, Bench and Power Clean.

Because of the popularity and nature of the sport, Football has far surpassed other sports in scholarship opportunities for today’s student-athletes. This is great news for football players at BVN!! As a former college coach, Coach Sims has a tremendous knowledge of the recruiting process and a large network of current college coaches at his disposal. Please visit with Coach Sims on developing a plan and to discuss expectations. He will address this topic at the parent meeting. Since 2008 players that played for Coach Sims have earned a total of $575,000 in Athletic Scholarships. Below are the list of schools that Coach Sims players have gone off to play at.
