MY LITTER-LESS LUNCH Help divert landfill waste by sending used GLAD® Food Storage product to TerraCycle®
Our school is participating in the GLAD food storage Brigade, a unique recycling solution in partnership with recycling experts TerraCycle. Each year, over 252,000 tonnes of plastic waste is thrown away and disposed of in NZ landfills. Together GLAD and TerraCycle are committed to reducing plastic food packaging waste but they need our help. Students are asked to collect unwanted used GLAD food storage products from their lunch box and place it in the school’s collection box. All plastic GLAD food containers will then be shipped to TerraCycle to be recycled. This is a free recycling programme for Glad food storage products and a fundraising opportunity to support our school! By joining taking part in the launch of the My litter-less lunch programme you can help protect our planet while also raising money for our school. For any used GLAD food storage products received, our school may be awarded two TerraCycle points. These TerraCycle points can be redeemed for a payment of $0.01 per point. The following items are accepted: � GLAD® ClingWrap plastic wrap
� GLAD® Snap Lock bags (including Disney) � GLAD® ZipSlide bags
� GLAD® MatchWare containers
