Workshop Overview This master class provides participants with an in depth understanding of the new global HR competencies that define high performance for HR leaders and professionals. Dr. Jon Younger, co-author with Profs. Dave Ulrich and Wayne Brockbank of the best selling books “HR From the Outside In”, “Global HR Competencies”, and “HR Transformation”, leads this presentation and discussion of the 2012 results of HR global competency research, co-sponsored by the University of Michigan School of Business, The RBL Group, and partner HR associations in Asia, Australia, Africa, India, the Mid-East, Europe, North and Latin America. Dr. Younger will share key findings and recommendations from the research that enable HR leaders and professionals to improve their performance, reputation, influence, and business impact. As a result of this presentation, participants will have a deeper knowledge of how HR organisations can meaningfully focus HR priorities and the development of their professionals where the business value is greatest. Speaker Dr. Jonathan Younger Partner emeritus, RBL Group Jon Younger is a widely respected author, teacher and consultant in HR management and leadership development. He is partner emeritus of the RBL Group, built the firm’s highly respected strategic HR practice, and was director of the RBL Institute. He continues to consult with select clients of the firm and teach strategic HR and talent management for leading global companies and governments. Over the past three years he has consulted and taught in over 40 countries including North America, Europe, China, India, Australia and SE Asia. Dr. Younger holds a Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Toronto. He is a member of the executive education faculties of the University of Michigan and the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Hyderabad, and chairs the ISB annual talent management conference co-sponsored by the Indian national HRD association. He sits on a number of boards, including both commercial companies and the Government of Singapore HR Transformation advisory panel.
