Mount Olive Premier - Player Contract The Mount Olive Soccer Club Premier Program is designed for the player with serious ambition to take their game to the next level. Teams are prepared to compete in higher flighted league competition, as well as, participate in selected prestigious tournaments including the State Cup. The schedule is demanding and we want to be sure each player and his or her family understands their commitment to the program and the team. To ensure this we are asking you, the Player and the Parent/Guardian, to read the following contract and agree to this commitment by signing below. Article 1: Policy of Refund
There will be no refunds for participants registering with Mount Olive Premier Teams for 2017-2018 unless extreme circumstances exist. All players are required to pay all of the fee installments on time with the first deposit as soon as spot is accepted.

Participation in games and practices may be restricted if payments are not made by due dates.
In addition to the Yearly Premier Payments, a uniform kit in the amount of approximately $280 must also be purchased. A town field fee of $20 is also charged to each participant.
The following documents are required of each player to complete their registration to a team: o A copy of the players birth certificate o One (1) electronic photo of the player for the pass and one hard copy of the photo 1”x1” in size o Signed US Club registration form o Signed Player Contract o Uniform Order Form

To secure the players spot on the team roster, the deposit must be paid on the website during registration and this contract must be signed. Your spot on the team can not be accepted until this happens. A notice from the Board of Directors will be sent if payment is declined and not settled within 14 business days of the due date described here within. If payment of services is in the arrears 30 days past due, player’s cards will be held by MOSC until such past due amounts are brought current.
Article 3: Services Provided
MOSC will provide the grounds for said practices, home games, and scrimmages as prescribed by the nature of the team.
MOSC will provide equitable coaching at all practices, games, and scrimmages. Should that team’s coach be unable to attend said event, MOSC’s Executive Board will approve and appoint a secondary coach who will assume coaching responsibilities.
Playing time and or position on the team is not guaranteed but earned. Playing time and or playing position will be determined by the coach based upon attendance at practices, performance on the field, and the needs of the team.
Article 4: Attendance
It is the expectation of MOSC and your team’s coach that the player will participate in 100% of all team activities which includes training session and league games. Attendance at all team events is required and any exceptions to this rule will require the coach’s approval.
Every player is encouraged to participate in such functions deemed “Special Events”. Examples of such events are fundraising, raffles, picnics, and tournaments. Such a list should not be deemed all inclusive
Article 5: Code of Conduct
The player and the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) will conduct themselves at all times in a manner that is in keeping with representing MOSC and will not bring disgrace upon the organization. They will respect all individuals including players, coaches, fans, officials, and opposing teams. Further they will also
Page 3 of 4 respect the facilities and the property of others while attending any MOSC sanctioned event to include but not limited to games, scrimmages, and tournaments. Further, if a player and or parent/guardian is found using or in possession of drugs or violation of New Jersey Youth Soccer Association (NJYSA) and/or facility’s rules and regulations, that they will be subject to disciplinary action by the NJYSA Discipline Committee. Each player shall represent MOSC appropriately by demonstrating good sportsmanship, team spirit, self-discipline and respect for others. The following code of conduct and responsibilities shall be adhered to at all times. Each player will: o
Respect the officials and accepts their decisions without gesture or comment
o
Play hard, but play within the rules of the game of soccer.
o
Treat opponents, coaches, team mates, and fans with respect.
o
Arrive at games with the following: running shoes or trainers, alternate pair of cleats, extra socks, shirts, water, towels, shin guards and the complete uniform as issued by MOSC.
o
Notify the coach and team manager if a player is unable to make a practice or game.
o
Conduct ones' self in a professional sportsmanlike manner at all times as an ambassador of MOSC.
o
Encourage fellow teammates at all training sessions and matches.
Article 6: Miscellaneous
Parental coaching from the sidelines is not permitted. All MOSC Coaches both paid and parent volunteers are registered with the New Jersey Youth Soccer Association, and US Club Soccer. Background checks are done on all coaches. The program leader is Matthew Farrell and will deal with any issues or problems regarding the program He can be reached at 973-738-7178.
