Hello Liberty Family, Blessings! There are many exciting things happening at Liberty. God has been moving in our worship services. There is a fresh sense of excitement and expectancy. Pray and be faithful and let’s see what the Lord will do! Liberty’s The Big Invite is coming. The Big Invite is a six week effort to reach out to lost and unchurched people and invite them to Easter services. We are using “Seven for Heaven” prayer cards to pray for lost and unchurch people. We have invitation cards to distribute to people we encounter. We are planning a door hanger campaign to leave personal invitations on the doors of 2500 homes. We are direct mailing an invitation to 15,000 homes. We are using Facebook to reach out to thousands of our collective friends. Excitement is building. We are already seeing new people in our services. Our goal is to have 600 people in our 10:45 AM Easter Celebration. With God all things are possible. We are inviting our community to come to Easter services and “Start Your New Beginning.” You can access our guest page at: http://www.lbcfayette.org/newbeginning. People everywhere need a new beginning. They simply don’t know how to begin. The Easter message is the answer. This is why we must invite lost and unchurched people to Easter services. There is no greater time of the year than Easter. It is the church’s Super Bowl. We will strengthen ourselves through special services as we do each year. We will conduct our annual Passover Seder on Thursday, April 13, at 6:30 PM. This is a full traditional Passover meal. The greatest part is the education and worship of this great experience. We will also have a traditional Good Friday service, April 14, at 7 PM. This is one of the most inspiring services each year. Saturday, April 15, will be our annual children’s Easter Egg Hunt and gospel presentation. Family and neighborhood children are invited. It begins at 10 AM. Easter Sunrise Service will be at 7:30 AM overlooking Lake Liberty. A free breakfast will follow. These are all opportunities for us to encounter God during this most sacred time of the year. We are in need of candy filled eggs for our CommunityWide Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 15, at 10:00 AM. Please pick up some plastic eggs from the lobby and take them home and fill them with individually wrapped candy. You may then return the filled eggs to the collection container in the lobby. Dear parents and students, it is a great time to be a part of the Student Ministry. Thank you for allowing your students to be able to take part. The students are going to be taking part in “The Big Invite” door hanger distribution in April with more information to come. On Sunday, April 23, we are going to have a meeting with all of the students and parents who are interested in going to Fuge this year. While no monies are due that day, we are going to take care of filling out the paperwork that is required of each student and give out all information for the mission trip. We are going to Jefferson City, TN this year from July 11-15, and we are expecting God to do amazing things. On Sunday, April 30, we are planning on a service project following the morning worship service with more details to follow. Coming up on May 6, we are having a one day retreat at the church that day. The theme is “Staying Pure in a Compromising World.” The cost is $10 which will be refunded on the day of the retreat. This will allow us to know how many are going to attend for food costs. On Wednesday nights we are going to be doing a study on the Book of Daniel. We are having a terrific time on Wednesdays so please get your students involved. Thank you for your support and encouragement. April 3-11, two mission teams are serving in Peru, one teaching in the Peruvian International Seminary in Arequipa and one reviewing the progress of the Ceramic Water Filter Plant in Tacna, Peru. April 17-25, a teaching team will be in Nyamira, Kenya at Thrive University. In both locations more than 55 students will be studying the Bible and training for leadership roles in their own churches or planting new churches. \
The prayer emphasis for missionaries began on March 19, and the registration of those signed on the Missionary Recognition List will be recognized on a world map located in the hall passageway between the Worship Center and the Fellowship Hall.
