PHS Choir Students Take 2 of 3 Top Chairs
Paris High School choir students captured two of the three top chairs in the SAB (SopranoAlto-Baritone) Region Choir and qualified nine students overall during auditions held Saturday at Mount Pleasant. Pictured (from left) on front are first-chair winners sophomore soprano Tieren Gates and freshmen alto Yessica Ramirez, on the second row are (soprano) Averi McFadden, (altos) Angel Lopez, and Monica Lopez, and on the back row are (baritones) Thaddeus Spence, Javian Dabbs (second alternate), Jared Gibo, and Jake Freelen. Not photographed (alto) Malaree Wise. These students will return to Mount Pleasant on Nov. 1 to participate in the All-Region Choir Clinic/Concert. Five PHS choir students previously earned seats in the High School Mixed Region 4 Choir and will participate at the same event. The Paris High School choir is under the direction of Jan Blize.
