Thank you to everyone; parents, pupils past and present and staff who donated, helped at the fayre or spent their money and had fun. (Raffle winner will be announced next week)
We would like to say a great big thank you Mrs Boyd, Mrs Delaney, Mrs Gillespie and Mrs Walls from Reception Class 2016
We raised £276.63 for school fund. This money will be spent on benefiting your children.
We have learned so many things throughout the year.
Thank you for your support.
What a fantastic year we have had in Year 3. We have been very busy gaining lots of new knowledge and skills across the curriculum. We hope you have enjoyed sharing our learning journey with us.
Our attendance has been fantastic this term. We had the best attendance in the whole school for three weeks in a row. Let’s keep it up in Year 4!
We have been learning about Islam. Thank you to Fatimah, Nora and Hastyar for bringing in their precious items and teaching us about their religion.
We were lucky enough to get a visit from an RAF sergeant. Sergeant Peters visited Year 3 to tell us what it is like to be involved in modern war and told us all about the different missions he was sent on. During Refugee week, we explored the theme of ‘Welcome’. We created a display to welcome visitors to our class. We each wrote a message in our own languages. Did you know there are 18 different languages spoken in Year 3? Wow!
Our science topic has been ‘Light’. We have been having so much fun exploring shadows and creating our own den to test how our eyes would adjust. Independent Writer Of The Week Congratulations Sakshi Rawat Please read her writing on the enclosed sheet.
