Dear Friends and Family Welcome to our "Mothers Day Service" ... a day to honour our Mum's and thank God for the Women in our lives that we know and love. I grew up in a home with a Mum who often shared her wisdom with little sayings \ \ \ \

"Two wrongs don't make a right" "The children in Africa would be thankful for this dinner" (under my breath I would suggest she sent it to them) " Only cows walk and eat at the same time" and the all time favourite.. "Grow up" said with feeling

Even today, a few years later I hear those words echoing in my head (especially when I am behaving badly), ‘Come on grow up’. This morning we are doing an overview of the book of James. James gives us some words of wisdom to live by including these words (message translation): James 3

"Do you want to be counted wise, to build a reputation for wisdom? Here's what to do: Live well, live wisely, live humbly. It's the way you live, not the way you talk that counts." "Real wisdom, God's wisdom, begins with a holy life and is characterised by getting along with others."

How are you doing with this? Have a great week Denise Crump Pastor
