…We are out to destroy the works of the devil… In what is known as the Lord’s prayer, Jesus said clearly and concisely: “Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” (Matthew 6:9-10). The will of God is simply this: “On earth as it is in Heaven.” Isn’t it refreshing? When we pray, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done,” we’re praying for the King’s dominion and will to be realized right here, right now. That is a life-transforming, paradigm-shattering way to “do” normal Christianity. What is free to operate in Heaven – Joy, peace, wisdom, health, wholeness, and all the other good promises we read about in the Bible – should be free to operate here on this planet, in your home, your church, your business, and your school. What is not free to operate there – sickness, disease, spiritual bondage, and sin – should not be free to operate here, period. We are out to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). It’s an awesome way to live! When we make this our primary understanding of God’s will, the other areas that trouble us so much will seem to sort themselves out (Matt. 6:33). When we make this our mission, lives are set free, bodies are restored, darkness lifts from people’s minds, the rule of the enemy is pushed back in every way imaginable. Businesses grow healthy, relationships flower again, people re-connect with their calling and purpose in life, churches grow, and cities feel the effects of having the kingdom flourishing within them. Energy is freed up for Kingdom works in ways I have never seen before. Things happen regularly that are so extraordinary it’s like stepping into the pages of a good novel. But it’s not a madeup lifestyle; it’s the lifestyle for which we were made. Excerpt from The Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind

Kid’s Church will be back up and running on the 26th of July (Generator is back on the 24th). Let’s not forget to thank our awesome children’s ministry team for all their hard work, love and care for our kids! They are passionate, well organised, loving, God honouring (check out that list) and help run jolly good programs for our children. Please keep this team in your prayers; they give a lot to our whanau here at Hutt City (as do all our volunteers). #wearegrateful

Dear Sponsor, Hello, how are you all there, I hope and pray that you are all fine upon reading this letter of mine. I am excited to tell you all that our Corps and Young People Department is growing in numbers and in recruits specially Young People and thankful to God. Glad that our first Love Night events in Corps was very successful because of power of prayer and co-operation and unity of each and every one of us in Angeles Corps, and also I am very thankful because this coming March 27 is my Graduation Day and I cannot finished my high school year if there is no one supporting me. Thank you very much to all of you my loving, caring and supportive sponsor for always there for me. Again thank you very much from the bottom of my heart. I love you all and God Bless you all. Executive Assistant to the Secretary and Assistant Secretary for Programme / Territorial Events Co-ordinator Wellington NEW ZEALAND The Salvation Army, Territorial Headquarters New Zealand are looking for a multi-talented Executive Assistant / Territorial Events Co-ordinator to provide support services to the Secretary and the Assistant Secretary for Programme. (possible two events a year and three events every three years) Ideally you will be capable of undertaking the following duties: duties · Research and preparation of appropriate briefing documents for the Programme Secretaries · Planning and appropriate preparation for events and meetings · General Executive Assistant duties · Co-ordinate Events for the New Zealand Territory It is essential you have the ability to prioritise workloads and negotiate deadlines in the face of competing demands along with the ability to work with minimal supervision. You will also be able to easily relate to people at all levels of the organisations with maturity and confidence.
