Newton House Activities: Music Well done to all Newton students who participated in the 2018 House Music Competition; you were fantastic. The 6th formers did a great job and you all performed to the best of your ability on the night.

Newton House Activities: Sport Newton girls are doing extremely well in Netball and Basketball; and we are very proud that both Y7 and Y10 Girls won the Netball and Basketball Inter‐House Competition! Senior Girls also won the Senior House Netball‐ is there no end to our talents?! We are also getting closer to get the Robert Brown Trophy back. Come on the boys…….we do need you to win a few matches!

Warm congratulations to Felix Hayford 9NI who won a runner up prize in the House Poetry competition. There were 5 runners up and Felix won a £10 book token for his poem. All winning poems are on display in the library.
We are always very keen to support our charities and this month we have sent £200 to WWF because we care about the future of our planet. We are going to sign up for EARTH HOUR 2018 in order to support action tackling the Climate Change.
Newton House: Important Notice for Y7s Y7 Trip to Condover A letter has been issued to the Y7 Students going to Condover Hall in the last week. Please read the pack carefully as there is important information regarding a meeting in May and two forms to fill in before Friday 20th April.
