Next month I will be hosting a Russian language online virtual prayer journey across Russia. "Passengers" will hop aboard the Trans-Siberian Express from December 1-15 to learn about and pray for fifteen different unreached people groups that live along the historic railway. I'm using Facebook as the media to carry us across Russia. Each day the train will stop and passengers will "visit" actual cities, towns, or villages where these UPGs live. There will be photos of the community and people, a short description of the people, and specific prayer needs for the people group. The goal is to become better acquainted with the Mishar Tatars, Eastern Mari, Bashkir, Buryat, and others. These people groups are unreached, which means that there are no churches where they live, there are no Christians living among them, and for a lot of them; there are no Scriptures available in their native language. Pray for more people to sign up to take part in this unique opportunity to pray for unreached peoples in Russia. Perhaps this event can be made into a print media resource someday.
