“Good News for all Nations”
As we gather together to celebrate the Incarnation of God’s Son, Jesus Christ, we are part of a worldwide celebration, because Jesus came not just for the Jews but for all the nations! The angel told the shepherds: “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.” We are part of a worldwide family that God is calling to Himself, those who belong to Him through faith in Jesus Christ. His birth, life, death and resurrection are “good news for all nations!” So let’s celebrate today what He has done and what He is doing through Christ. Our elder for the month of December is Saha Chatterpaul. In case of emergency he can be reached at 905-824-7070. Directory Update: Please check the directory listings in the foyer today and make any corrections as we are printing a new one early in 2017. The church office will be closing Friday December 23 at 1:00 pm. It will reopen Friday December 30.
At Sheridan Park we are seeking to “connect young families to Christ.”
At Sheridan Park we believe God hears and answers prayer as we seek to fulfill the mission and ministry He has given us. So let’s join together in praying daily for: For health issues in our church family: For those in our church family as we pray for 2 individuals or families each week: For our Missionaries David and Donna who will be with us on Sunday January 22. For churches in our Community This week we would like to pray for Stony Plain Alliance Church in Alberta whose children’s wing burned down this week.
