On little tiny feet it is creeping up on us. It will be here before you know it. Our tables will be laden with ham, turkey, barbeque, mashed potatoes with gravy, rich dressing, green beans, corn, sweet potatoes, salads, cranberry sauce, hot rolls, pumpkin pie, coconut cake, sweet tea. We will eat too much then moan and groan about it. But I am sure we will be thankful for what we have. Even if we serve a more modest meal, we will still be thankful for this bounty and blessing. But will we be thankful enough to share? Will we be pilgrims and offer to share with others? Will we make them feel as if they are guests in our homes and welcome to share what we have? Can we at least share the basics with others while we consume in excess? I know we can, and we must! We collected 220 lbs. of food this month. That is great, but we must do even better. SO, “COME YE THANKFUL PEOPLE COME, RAISE THE SONG OF HARVEST HOME”

and bring some of that bounty to share with those who have less than enough. Happy Thanksgiving!…………..……….bzf
