Subject: Request for extension to submit the Annual Report for the fiscal year December 31, 2011
Gentlemen / Ladies: ABS-CBN Corporation would like to request for extension of the deadline to submit the Annual Report for the period ended December 31 ,2011. The Company will not be able to file the above-mentioned report on the deadline on April 16, 2012 because the Company is still in the process of completing the necessary information for the 17-A report. We are however submitting a disclosure on our financial results today in connection with our Analysts’ and Press Briefing. The Company undertakes to submit the report within fifteen (15) calendar days after the prescribed deadline or upon submission of the report to the Securities and Exchange Commission, whichever is earlier. The Company understands that failure to comply with the undertaking may result to the imposition of applicable penalty/ies and/or sanction/s.
