Re-Imagining Teaching and Learning

Hierarchy of Change •  Student Achievement •  Instruction & Assessment •  Policies & Structure •  Culture & Relationships •  Purpose & Mission

Creating A Shared Vision What knowledge, skills and attributes do our students need to have so that they are prepared for college, careers and successful adults? What kind of learning environment develops the knowledge, skills, and attributes that prepare students to be successful adults? What kind of organization is needed to build the learning environment (people, tools and resources) to ensure every student graduates ready for college, careers, and civic life?

What Does NTN Do?

At  its  core,  NTN  builds  the  human   and  organiza7onal  capacity  in   school  systems  to  be:er  prepare   all  students  with  the  knowledge,   skills  and  a:ributes  for  success  in   college,  careers  and  civic  life.

OUR LEARNING ORGANIZATION The New Tech design is simply a blueprint, accompanied by a set of core beliefs, tools, and strategies to help each school become successful. Because each school’s context is different, it is local leadership, judgment, and adaptability that leads to long-term success.

Focus on Deeper Learning •  CCSS Project Based Learning (PBL) primary means of instruction •  NT Learning Outcomes, School Success Rubric   •  College Ready Assessments embedded within Projects as tasks   •  Universal access to devices in and out of the classroom   •  Teachers, students, parents and administrators all utilize the Echo learning management system
