The Basics The top-ranked Oklahoma State men’s cross country team will look to earn it’s fourth-straight Big 12 title, as it travels to College Station, Texas to, compete at the Big 12 Championships The No. 30 OSU women’s team will look to improve upon its fourth-place finish at the conference meet a season ago. It was the team’s highest finish at the Big 12 Championships since 2006. The action is scheduled to get underway at 10 a.m. with the start of the men’s 8,000-meter championship race, followed by the start of the women’s 6,000-meter championship race at 11 a.m.
OSU Lineups The top athletes from the men’s and women’s teams will represent Oklahoma State on Saturdat. While several athletes are registered to run, only seven will race. Last Time Out The Cowboys won their thirdconsecutive conference title behind the effort of five top-10 finishers. Girma Mecheso took the individual title in the race, while German Fernandez, Colby Lowe and Tom Farrell finished second-
fourth. Joseph Manilafasha rounded out the scoring five with a ninth-place finish The Cowgirls placed fourth at the conference meet for their highest mark since 2006. They were paced by a ninthplace finish from then-senior Mihaela Susa. 2010 in Review The 2010 season saw the Cowboys win their second-straight national championship under the direction of coach Dave Smith. The Cowboys also won their third-straight Big 12 Championship and took the team title in five of the six races they competed in. They also had the top individual finsher in five of six events. Five runners - Girma Mecheso, German Fernanadez, Colby Lowe, Tom Farrell and Johnathan Stublaski - earned All-America honors. The Cowgirls placed 17th at the NCAA Championships, competing as a team for the first time since 2005. They were led all season by Mihaela Susa, who was the Cowgirls’ top finisher in four events, including a first-place finish at the Cowboy Jamboree. OSU in the Polls The Oklahoma State men have been ranked No. 1 in every poll this season, including the preseason poll. The Cowboys received eight of 12 first-place votes in the most recent poll. The Cowgirls come into the meet ranked No. 30 and have been ranked in every poll this season, reaching as high as No. 22. They began the year ranked No. 26.

The Basics The top-ranked Oklahoma State men’s cross country team will look to earn it’s fourth-straight Big 12 title, as it travels to College Station, Texas to, compete at the Big 12 Championships The No. 30 OSU women’s team will look to improve upon its fourth-place finish at the conference meet a season ago. It was the team’s highest finish at the Big 12 Championships since 2006. The action is scheduled to get underway at 10 a.m. with the start of the men’s 8,000-meter championship race, followed by the start of the women’s 6,000-meter championship race at 11 a.m.

Last Time Out The Cowboys won their thirdconsecutive conference title behind the effort of five top-10 finishers. Girma Mecheso took the individual title in the race, while German Fernandez, Colby Lowe and Tom Farrell finished second-
fourth. Joseph Manilafasha rounded out the scoring five with a ninth-place finish The Cowgirls placed fourth at the conference meet for their highest mark since 2006. They were paced by a ninthplace finish from then-senior Mihaela Susa. 2010 in Review The 2010 season saw the Cowboys win their second-straight national championship under the direction of coach Dave Smith. The Cowboys also won their third-straight Big 12 Championship and took the team title in five of the six races they competed in. They also had the top individual finsher in five of six events. Five runners - Girma Mecheso, German Fernanadez, Colby Lowe, Tom Farrell and Johnathan Stublaski - earned All-America honors. The Cowgirls placed 17th at the NCAA Championships, competing as a team for the first time since 2005. They were led all season by Mihaela Susa, who was the Cowgirls’ top finisher in four events, including a first-place finish at the Cowboy Jamboree. OSU in the Polls The Oklahoma State men have been ranked No. 1 in every poll this season, including the preseason poll. The Cowboys received eight of 12 first-place votes in the most recent poll. The Cowgirls come into the meet ranked No. 30 and have been ranked in every poll this season, reaching as high as No. 22. They began the year ranked No. 26.
