HICKS/HARTMAN GARDEN 8717 210th Street East, Graham  10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The 1.1 acre property was originally almost all grass except for the vegetable garden space. The owners added a few small beds to provide color and interest. The beds have grown - eventually all the grass will be gone. The land is glacial rock and the owners have used the rock for borders on all the flower beds. Part of the property has about fifty fir trees, creating a different microclimate than the area without trees. The owners have expanded the vegetable gardens, added fruit trees and berries and have surrounded those areas with flowerbeds that will attract pollinators. There are several seating areas scattered around that invite visitors to stop, relax and enjoy the surroundings. Birds and squirrels are daily visitors along with the occasional rabbit and deer.
