CHILDREN’S MINISTRY Please check-in all children attending nursery or Sunday school, preschool through 5th grade, at the Check-In Kiosk by the nursery or the South entrance. Did you know it takes 70 volunteers to help with VBS? If you are available to help, please register online at: beechwoodchurch.org. VBS is June 20-24 from 9:00 AM to noon. Items Needed for VBS- Drop off at the VBS table in the Atrium: Plastic blue tablecloths - all sizes and shades of blue. Clear plastic bottles with caps (16.9 oz.), labels removed and bottles rinsed. FINANCIAL STEWARDSHIP BEECHWOOD MISSIONARIES AND MISSIONS Agshin is a RCA Missionary supported by Beechwood and is the recipient of today’s Communion Thank Offering. There are many parts to his ministry including building relationships with Muslim international college students who are the future leaders of their countries of origin. Agshin is also helping a Somali-African church plant in Grand Rapids and records podcasts at Words of Hope that are broadcasted to areas in the world that are hard to reach for the Gospel. Alicia Kamps continues on her outreach and mission with YWAM in Rampur, India and Sri Lanka. Please pray for her protection, that she grow in her faith and for her boldness in sharing the Gospel. ANNOUNCEMENTS Communion: We celebrate the Lord’s Supper in the worship service today. All who have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and have been baptized are welcome to share in the communion. The Thank Offering will be for RCA Missionary Agshin. Congregational Meeting is today following the service in the Sanctuary. Beechwood members are invited to vote to approve the budget and slate of Elders and Deacons. The Elders are Jerry Rabe, Phil Reinken and Clair VanZeelt. The Deacons are Joe DeWeerd and Karla Kammeraad-Bos. Absentee Ballots are available by the office. Summer Outdoor Worship begins June 19. It takes over 50 volunteers each week to make a single outdoor worship service happen. We know everyone is excited to be part of this ministry! Inserted in the bulletin is a sign-up sheet for you to fill out. Please place it in the collection plate or drop it in the box in the Atrium. If you prefer to choose specific dates, there are schedules on tables in the Atrium where you can also sign-up. Every Life Matters! LifeWalk is a two mile walk celebrating life and providing Positive Options for the health, choice and future of those facing pregnancy decisions. On June 18, Lakeshore Pregnancy Center will hold their 21st Annual LifeWalk at Kollen Park at 9:00 AM. Visit Nancy Kamps at the LifeWalk table in the Atrium for more information, to sign up, or to support others walking.
