COURSES APPROVED FOR 1163 Training Requirement Washington State Department of Social and Health Services approved the following courses for CONTINUING EDUCATION PURPOSES for long term care workers (1163 Training Requirement). It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure the class is appropriate to their level of training. Agencies using these classes to meet the 1163 Training Requirement must apply to be an approved provider and site the use of this approved curriculum. Please Note: If in need of courses to meet the DSHS Core/Basic Training requirement, please refer to the Home Care Association of Washington website or Washington State DSHS website for a list of approved providers.
