DVD ‘Journey into Children’s Minds’ Course Tutors Steve Williams is a freelance teacher, writer, and editor specialising in philosophy with children. He helped to found SAPERE, the Philosophy for Children network in the UK, and was the first person in Britain to introduce P4C as a curriculum subject in a secondary school. Over the years, he has worked with children of all ages in a wide variety of schools. He has helped many teachers to start Philosophy for Children through the courses and support he provides. He is a founder member and editor of P4C.COM, a co-operative enterprise providing P4C resources to teachers and students. Dr Sue Lyle has been a teacher, teacher educator for 40 years and first trained in P4C in 1996. Since 2003 she has lead an extensive programme of P4C in Swansea where over 1800 teachers have completed Level 1 training including 62 whole school programmes and 70 trained to Level 2. A DVD, ‘Journey into Children’s Minds’ tells the story of P4C in Swansea and is available to buy from Imaginative Minds. Recently retired from Head of Continuing Professional Development at Swansea Metropolitan University, Sue now leads her own company, Dialogue Exchange to carry out research and promote dialogic approaches to learning and teaching in schools.
