As we move through Holy Week, from the joy of Palm Sunday to the grief of Good Friday and finally the empty tomb, light a candle each day to “mark” (or remember) an event that brought you either great joy or great pain & pray for God’s grace in it!
Read: Matthew 21:1-11 Palm Sunday celebrates God’s enduring goodness and steadfast love even in the face of fickle people. And so, despite our unfaithful love and uncertain devotion, God remains forever faithful to his people and still comes to restore & redeem us.

Holy Week arrives with Palm Sunday joy giving way to the anguish of Gethsemane (the betrayal & arrest of Jesus) which then leads to the devastation of Golgotha (Jesus’ crucifixion & death). Share about God’s promises for your life in times of both celebration & sadness.
Holy Week begins with the reminder that it is God in Jesus who comes to us. We do not first seek God, God pursues us. Likewise, look for ways to first love, forgive or serve others. Not because they asked for it, but because God has calls us to love others.
