Hand cut paper art by Lisa Rodden Australian paper artist Lisa Rodden cuts, slices, and folds thick layers of white paper on top of acrylic painting that is occasionally accompanied with text. Our next project: For this project we will create a low relief paper sculpture with a painted background using X-Acto knives, heavy weight paper and water color paints.
Our next project: • This project will be accomplished in several steps: –Experiment with different ways to cut and fold paper to make designs. –Decide on design(s) to be used. –Cut designs out of one of your papers. –Create a painted background using watercolor.
