CHARTIERS VALLEY SOCCER ASSOCIATION (CVSA) PARENT/GUARDIAN/SPECTATOR CODE OF CONDUCT The CVSA promotes good sportsmanship and encourages all players to have fun in the game of soccer. Parent/guardians are the most important role models in providing a positive environment and everyone is expected to set a good example for his or her child to play in this league. The CVSA expects its member-parents to:

By registering your child to participate in the Chartiers Valley Soccer Association, you understand and agree to abide by the following Code of Conduct. “COOLING OFF” PERIOD Wait 24 hours before taking up a question or concern about the coach or team situation with the Age Group Commissions. This “cooling off period” provides an opportunity for all parties to separate themselves from the immediacy of the situation, and then to discuss it in a calm, non-emotional manner. Team officials are not required to deal with an upset or emotional parent unless the 24-hour cooling off period has been observed. Remember that there is more to life than soccer and/or sports. Keep things in perspective – the odds of your child playing professional sports is slim, so encourage them to enjoy participating in soccer and above all HAVE FUN.
