– Family Volunteer Points are based upon the # of child you have (minimum per family is 5 pts) – see 2016 P&P and Parent Handbook – Select volunteering positions achieve more points due to added responsibility/training, see 2016 Parent Handbook – Swimtopia App – FVP Status - posted at Volunteer Check In table at each meet – General Volunteering spots open today at 7pm – Volunteering sign up closes May 14 – Volunteer Coordinator will assign remaining spots

Incomplete Volunteering
Volunteering points are not awarded when:
• Failure to check in at a meet will result in a family not receiving credit for that volunteer position worked • Failure to work entire shift (i.e. departing early, cannot be found during shift, etc.) • Failure to perform job duties, work, or shift as assigned by Volunteer Coordinator • Failure to properly change a shift We are here to help you meet your volunteering requirements – just ask
Incomplete Volunteering Impacts (CCKST P&P)
• If a family does not fulfill their volunteer requirements at a scheduled meet, their swimmer(s) will not be eligible for the next meet • If family volunteer commitments have not been fulfilled by the last regular swim season meet, then the family’s swimmer(s) will not be able to participate in the Meet of Champions for the current season and will not be eligible to preregister at the following swim season without Board of Directors approval Help your swimmer(s) succeed
Volunteering Points
• Point Calculation
– 1st swimmer = 5 pts – Additional swimmers = 2 pts x (n-1) – Total Family Swim Points = 5 + 2*(n-1)
• Exemptions
– 15-18yr age group – Season long roles/jobs
Job + Signup
• All Signup occurs on CCKST Swimtopia site – (same place you designate swimmers in meets) • Signups open today at 7pm • See me for season long signup today – Ready Bench – Starter/Referee/Judges/Head Timer – Interested in another volunteering position?
Job Change Process
• See Parent Handbook for Process • Steps
– Find a person willing to switch with you, or check Swimtopia site for opportunities – Confirm your switch via email between parties swapping shifts – Both parties to send email confirming switch – Once email is received from both parties, Volunteer Coordinator will make changes
