Parent Newsletter " He isn't here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen….” -Matthew 28:6
Did you know?
Our new cut off time for attendance is 11 AM.
Happy Easter from Kidzway! We have lots going on in April! Spring has sprung! We hope with all of the warm weather coming up, that winter and illness will be on the way out the door! Just a reminder, that until further notice, if we send your child home for sickness, we must have a doctor’s excuse for their return. We want to keep this in place to keep our staff and kiddos well, while the area is seeing an increase in illness!

Ms. Alysha Minch: Mid-Day Floater
In each newsletter, we will take some time to get to know our staff. In this edition we want to introduce and welcome to two new faces around Kidzway: Mrs. Phillie and Ms. Alysha!
We also want to welcome to our crew and family, Ms. Alysha Minch. Ms. Alysha is joining us everyday from 10-2, to help through our staff lunch time and to fill in on days when our main staff is out. Ms. Alysha is 21 years old and loves spending time working with kids. She first realized her love for teaching through working with her church, teaching VBS for the past 5
Mrs. Philadelphia Evans: Floater Ms. Philadelphia, or Phillie for short, is joining us as a new floater position. She will be assisting our teachers in their daily routine and will be there to help in anyway they may need. Ms. Phillie is 22 years old, married to her husband Devin, and has an 18 month old son named Moses. She loves being a wife and mother! Even though she’s only been with us for two short weeks, she’s already excited to see
years. She wants to turn her love and passion for kids, into a career that makes her happy and allows her to care for others. Ms. Alysha will be starting at BCTC in the summer to start her CDA. We are excited to welcome Alysha and find her passion and enthusiasm refreshing! how we function as a family and is excited to join us. She said one of the first things she noticed was how smart the kiddos are and how well our teachers do in helping them learn. What a huge compliment! She’s looking forward to learning from the kids herself each day. We are excited to see Phillie start her CDA in the fall!

taking care of your children! We are starting a staff Bible study on Monday nights, if you or your family needs prayer, we’d love to be praying for specific things over you - just drop us an e-mail and considered yourself covered.
- Picture Day
Picture day is Monday, April 17th - the Monday after Easter. We will be working with Teddy Bear Portraits to take spring pictures of your child. They will also be taking portraits of sibling groups, as well as individual portraits. We will not be doing class pictures due to the amount of Foster Families we serve. The background will be a spring scene, so you may want to avoid the color green for outfits. A representative from Teddy Bear Portraits will be set up Monday, April 17th from 3-5:30PM for parents to review their child’s pictures and purchase if you’d like. Please send extra clothes with your child if you do not want them in their nice picture clothes all day.
