Zillions dollar questions: Why would you ever allow anybody else’s choices, opinions, behaviors – OR- your perceptions of their thoughts about you….determine what you think about yourself? Why would WE ever allow any source, outside of Christ, to shape our beliefs of our own value and worth? Are you reading your children God’s Word? Are you encouraging your children to read God’s Word? Are you discussing what God’s Word really says? Are you speaking God’s truths to your children? Consistently? Could your child verbally share God’s words of love for him personally? What do you role-model about your own security in Christ vs. Culture?
