First Aliyah: (35:1) Why did Moshe have to “gather” the people at the beginning of this parsha? Second Aliyah: (35:21) What is the difference between having one’s “heart lifted” vs. having one’s “spirit inspired”? Third Aliyah: (35:33) Why is Ahaliav not mentioned initially together with Betzalel as being appointed by Hashem and being filled with wisdom? Fourth Aliyah: (36:8) Why is this verse in the plural (“they made”), while all subsequent verses are in the singular (“he made”)? Fifth Aliyah: (37:1) If every other pasuk says, “he made” without mentioning Betzalel’s name, why is it stated here? Sixth Aliyah: (38:29) Why is the making of the anointing oil and incense mentioned together with the incense altar, if in Parshas Ki Tisa these two ingredients were mentioned separately? Seventh Aliyah: (38:8) Why were mirrors used specifically to construct the Laver?
