ILD Instructional Leadership Development (ILD) is the training required for beginning administrators seeking certification as PDAS/T-TESS appraisers. Prior to Summer 2015 ILD was a 36-hour (5 day) training required for beginning administrators seeking certification as PDAS appraisers. ILD (36 hr training) is offered as a face to face or an online option. See http://www4.esc13.net/ild/workshops/additional-workshops/ for training opportunities. Beginning Summer 2015 the “new” ILD will be a 3 day face to face option. It will continue to be a prerequisite for administrators using PDAS and/or T-TESS to appraise teachers. Region 8 ESC will offer ILD (3 day training) June 22-24 - Session # 40119.
T-TESS, Refinement year will be offered to districts in the 2015-2016 school year; however, use of this system at this time is voluntary. Region 8 ESC will provide training (3 day training) for LEAs participating in T-TESS Refinement. For info regarding participation, requirements, and training - contact Karla Coker.
