Remembering the life of…. Lloyd O. Anderson, 83, West Fargo, ND died on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Bethany on University, Fargo. Lloyd Oliver Anderson was born in Tolna, ND on September 24th, 1934 to Magna “Urvand” and Julius Anderson. He graduated from Tolna High School in 1952. After graduation he moved to Fargo where he worked at multiple jobs. When he worked at Granfors Roller rink in Pelican Rapids, MN, he met the love of his life, Joan Short. Lloyd enlisted in the Army in 1956 and he was united in marriage with Joan at St. Mary’s Cathedral on December 29th, 1956. They moved to Fayetteville, NC and he was stationed with the 82nd Airborne division in Ft. Bragg. They moved to West Fargo. He worked at Armours meat packing plant and later in life he was a truck driver and eventually retired from Fairway Foods. He loved spending time with friends and family and he also loved to go fishing, camping and playing Bingo and sneaking off with Joan for Casino trips. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Ann Marie, mother, father and his step father, Omar Fitcher, and five siblings, daughter-in-law Myrtle, grandson Jamie and granddaughter Nevada. He is survived by his wife Joan of 61 years and his children, Teresa Spadafore, David (Linda) Anderson , Michael Anderson, Dennis (MaryBeth) Anderson, Mary (Wesley) Oyloe, Monica (Chris) Heise and 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and siblings, Doris Dakken, Junis (Art) McMahon, Myron (Bernadine) Anderson and brother-in-law Marvin Short and many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
