Pearl Class Newsletter Week of May 22nd 8/20: Event

Dear Pearl Families, Thank you so much to all the parents who pulled through to drive on our field trip to Art Beast. Without all of you, it wouldn’t have been possible. Art Beast was a very unique and interesting venue for children. I hope you take your children there some time to check it out or do some further exploring. Calling all fathers or grandfathers! You are cordially invited to dine with DAD, where the students will serve a simple brunch to celebrate father’s day (if dad’s can’t make it grandpas are always welcome). This will take place on Monday June 12th at 9 a.m. Hope to see you there. Also that week, there are school wide spirit days. There will be a flyer sent home with more information this week. Here are the themes:

2nd – Art Walk/Raffle Basket/Silent Auction 5th – Planetarium 5th thru 9th – Kindergarten Spirit Days 12th – 14th – School Wide spirit days 12th – Dine with Dad 9 a.m. 14th – Graduation 12:45 p.m. 15th – Last Day early release
Monday June 5th will be our planetarium field trip. Tuesday June 6th will be Art Day Wednesday June 7th will be board game day Thursday June 8th will be Water day Friday June 9th will be movie and p.j. day. Graduation will be held at 12:45 with a short reception afterwards. TK students are invited to join and will have a small part in the ceremony. Please keep in mind that your student will be coming in from recess and we will be going directly onto the stage so please encourage them to stay with the class until we are back for the reception in the classroom. There will be a folder with all of your child’s work from the year. Please remember to grab it before you leave Wednesday. Thank you so much for all your help and support!!!!
